Shotokan Karate School Symbol

“What you have been taught by listening to other’s words you will forget very quickly; what you have learned with your whole body you will remember for the rest of your life.”

Gichin Funakoshi

Developed by Sam Justice and his students in 1973, Justice Karate American Shotokan is a unique hybrid of American style boxing techniques and traditional Okinawan Shotokan Karate. Through decades of research and application, Justice Karate American Shotokan has proven effective in teaching the tradition of Shotokan Karate and imparting the desire for success among its hundreds of practitioners.

Our mission is to provide quality instruction of the martial arts, while instilling the desire for success into each student. Whatever your martial arts avenue may be, you can find it at Justice Karate. We provide access to a variety of martial arts at the same location: Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Iaido, Kick Boxing and Tai Chi.

All advanced pracititoners of Karate are expected to pass on their knowledge to subsequent generations.
